If you are unhappy with an item you order from us, you are entitled to a refund or exchange under the terms of our policy laid out below. Our returns policy is in addition to your statutory rights.

We want to make shopping at The Paperie as easy as possible. You can return any item you order from The Paperie unopened and in its original condition within 7 days of the date you receive your order. We will refund you or exchange the item as required. Customised products may only be returned if faulty, and sale items are excluded unless they are supplied incorrectly, or are faulty. Please note that these terms apply to personal purchases only - orders for business or commercial purposes are excluded from these terms.
If your item is not faulty it must be returned 'as new' with all packaging intact for a full refund to be made. If the item is in 'as new' condition, you will receive a full refund. If you return all items from an order, you will also receive a refund for delivery charges made (excluding Special or premium delivery charges.)
Returning an item
To return an item please contact us for a returns authorisation. Once authorisation has been received, pack your item(s) carefully, fill out the returns form on the delivery note you received with the order, and return the items to us. Items are your responsibility until received by us so we recommend you use a recorded delivery service. If a return is the result of our mistake we will pay your return postage charges, otherwise they are your responsibility.
Once we have received and processed your return we will issue a full refund or an exchange for your original order value. We do not cover postage charges incurred in returning your item unless you are returning the item because we sent you an item incorrectly. We will email you to confirm your return details once we have received it.
If you don't have your original invoice/delivery note to hand please write your order number, returns authorisation number and email address clearly on a separate piece of paper and include this with your return so that we can trace your original order.

Cancelling an order
If you wish to cancel an order which has not yet been dispatched please contact us. Note however that as we aim to ship all orders received by 3pm on working days on the day received, then depending on when you place your order, there may be insufficient time to cancel it before it ships.
