Delivery Information
There is one single postage and packing charge per order which is calculated based on your order total and delivery destination. Some individual items may have promotional free UK delivery. If an order only includes items advertised with free UK delivery, then no delivery charge will apply to that order.
All orders are shipped as soon as possible subject to payment card authorisation and stock availability. Most orders placed by 12pm Monday-Friday on working days are despatched the same day.
UK Delivery
Standard orders up to £10.00 - £2.00 postage and packing (2nd Class)
We offer a free Super Saver Delivery option on all orders over £10.00 which are being delivered to an address within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or BFPO addresses. We aim to deliver orders placed with our Super Saver Delivery option within 5 working days.
You can also select our standard First Class delivery service for just £3.95 per order. We aim to deliver orders placed with our First Class option within 1-2 working days.
You can upgrade your order to Royal Mail Special Delivery (Next Working Day when you order before 1pm) for an additional £7.95 where available.
Deliveries to remote areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and other offshore locations may take additional time for delivery.
You can choose to have your order delivered to an alternate address during the delivery process. This address should also have a UK postal code. We reserve the right to refuse to deliver to an address other than the registered address of your payment card if the address is not secure - eg. a communal postal address. We do not deliver to PO Box numbers.
Europe & Worldwide Delivery
We offer fast delivery to a wide range of global destinations. For overseas shipping we calculate your shipping charge based on weight to keep our delivery cost as low as possible.
Deliveries to non-UK addresses are sent by Royal Mail using a signed-for service. Delivery period will depend on local postal services, but will typically take from 7-14 days from placing your order. You can find out how much delivery would be to your destination by adding items to your basket and then selecting your delivery country to get a no-obligation delivery cost.
Items not In Stock
In the unlikely event items from an order are not available from stock we will despatch all available items and contact you to confirm when remaining items will be fulfilled. If orders are split you will only pay a single delivery charge where applicable.
Payment Information
We accept orders through our website (www.thepaperie.co.uk) paid for by Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Electron, Solo or Maestro/Switch. We are unable to accept payment by American Express at this time.
As an additional security measure to combat unauthorised card use we will also ask you to enter the last three digits of the number printed on the reverse of your card at the checkout (this is called the Security Number or CVV number).
When you place an order on our website all of your details are encrypted and sent and stored securely. For more information on security and ordering from us please click here.
If you wish to pay by cheque, we can only accept your order by telephone. We will only despatch your order once the cheque has cleared. If you pay by cheque your delivery time will typically be 7-10 working days from the date we receive your cheque.
All prices shown are in £(GBP) sterling, and include VAT at the current rate. Our prices exclude any postage or delivery charges if applicable.
We can only accept orders paid for in sterling for delivery to UK mainland addresses. You must supply a UK postcode for your delivery and billing address.
We can only accept orders paid for with a payment card issued in your name.
If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
