About Us

The Paperie began in 2006 and was the brainchild of Angela and Simon. With Angela’s love of beautiful stationery and Simon’s expertise in design and web development, together they built an online stationery boutique filled with sumptuous paper products and divine writing instruments.

In 2009 Nigel, Simon’s father and Angela’s father-in-law, joined Angela and Simon which turned The Paperie into a real family business. Nigel brings 40 years of experience into the company and helps to balance Angela and Simon’s creativity.

The Paperie is now a strong family team dedicated to bringing you the best stationery from around the world. We focus on stocking well-designed and created items which are not easy to find on your typical High Street.

In a world so full of e-mails and text messages, the art of handwritten correspondence is becoming a rare thing, our aim is to keep the written word alive and to pass on our love of all things paper.
